Best Program in Outreach Engagement
KIDROP is awarded the "Best Program in Outreach Engagement" by the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) on February 7th, at the national award ceremony in Bangalore

National Award for Excellence in Health Care: Best Rural Outreach
KIDROP wins the National Award for Excellence in Health Care in the "Best Rural Outreach" category at the ceremony in Mumbai! On behalf of all our teams a grateful thanks for this recognition. We hope this will strengthen our resolve in serving the most remote and underserved areas of our nation preventing blindness in our precious infants.

E. T Selvam Award
KIDROP is honoured to be awarded the E.T. Selvam Award at the 82nd Annual All India Ophthalmological Society Conference in Kolkata, March 14-17, for the 'Best of the Best Poster' titled, 'The Battle against ROP blindness: 15 years of a Tele-ROP program'.

Padmashree MM Joshi Award
KIDROP is honored to be awarded the prestigious Padmashree MM Joshi Award for the best scientific presentation at the 37th Annual Karnataka State Ophthalmic Society conference (KOSCON).

Innovator Award 2018 (Department of Biotechnology, Government of India)
KIDROP is humbled to receive the “Innovator Award 2018” for the “Best Innovation in HealthCare” awarded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India at the 7th Innovators Conclave in New Delhi on September 19th, 2018.
The award was in recognition of the contribution to Project “ShishuNethra – Preventing Blindness in Infants” which led to the invention of “3Nethra Neo” – an indigenous, portable, wide-field retinal camera that can be used to screen infants for blinding conditions including Retinopathy of Prematurity.
KIDROP was the clinical partner for this device which was developed by Forus Health, India and the Indian Institute of Madras, Chennai, India.
